Office Companion Dog

Deva is a 13-year-old Chihuahua mix who has been part of the practice since we opened; she was adopted from a shelter in Medford, Oregon when she was just a year and a half old. Her early life included experiences of abandonment and instability, which gives her a quiet, natural sensitivity to emotional environments.

From the moment she met Dori, Deva formed a strong bond and has been by her side ever since. She now joins Dori at the office most days, where she offers a calm and comforting presence to clients.

Deva specializes in emotional support through presence. She holds advanced (self-awarded) certifications in cuddling, gentle companionship, receiving pets with grace, and offering unconditional kindness through eye contact. She is especially skilled at sensing when someone may need a moment of softness or grounding.

Deva’s role is simple but meaningful: to bring warmth, ease, and a sense of safety to the space.
